We have certainly gotten accustomed to living with non-stick cookware. We no longer pass endless hours in preparing our meals. Our routines are so hurried that we are hardly in the kitchen anymore. Of course some of us still occasionally enjoy cooking, and to make that easier and more pleasurable the main answer is probably non-stick pots and pans.

If you adore food preparation as much as I do, nobody has to urge you to part with some of your savings to buy interesting kitchen implements. I have often bought the latest, brightest, trendiest gadget and set it up in my kitchen only to discover that it really wasn’t so helpful after all. Then I have simply tucked it away in a cabinet and not touched it anymore.

Ricotta Pie is a dense and rich pie that can be served before or in between meals set on the table during an all day feast. This pie is delicious served warm or cold and is wonderful for a breakfast. I tend to like it best a few days after it has been made when the flavors have had some time to blend and mellow.
